Look, I have just one question for you
Twelve minutes of pure early 1970s, a soul symphony.

Can you dig it?

I can dig it.
Great piece of music.
Takes me straight back to 1972.

I remember the 7-minute version. Didn't realize that it was originally nearly 12-minutes.

I dug it back in 1972, and still do today. To paraphrase a reviewer, the silences in the song are deafening, such a vital part of the song. Unlike modern music having a hard-on need to fill every nano second of space with noise.

I still have the Vinyl somewhere,

Mom and Dad bought the album, used to listen to it when I was a kid

I liked it back then for sure. I really like this extended version.

At some point, nostalgia kind of colors your memory. I now kind of like some songs that back then were just 'meh', just because they take me back to a time long gone.

Thanks for posting this.

"Can you dig it? I knew that you could..."

I remember this when BC performed it.
It made an impact that has never diminished.

Your post, once again, brings it to the fore.

I can dig it.

Thank you, Face...

Grew up about 2 miles from the original Motown bldg. Knew a guy who had Psychedelic Shack on 8 track that he played in his car no stop. The tempting Temptations brings back alot of good memories.

Just sitting here, sipping on a Topo Chico mocktail, just relaxing and mellow. Remember being mellow?

Oh yeah, sitting in peace.

Peace all y'all.

Thanks Para.

It was the time when singers could actually sing, and musicians could actually play instruments.

I am trying to remember what movie bits and pieces of this song was played in - and I can't. But I know I have heard this before.

That’s a decade too early for me. I work with some older ladies and they all like the 80’s music. These two have been on the recent playlist and I can dig this. Both awesome songs.
