I image that the locals are nostalgic for the glory days of hundreds of years ago with stalled development and strutting about in flashy costumes. All that came to an end when they were overrun by foreigners.

We were told not to even have empty hulls in our possession by the sporting clays place in Kauai.
The LEO there have zero interest in allowing anyone to have a gun.

Only place in USA you’ll see Tacomas with pooucw vinyl.

I lived in Honolulu back in '86. I was working for the Honolulu PD and went shooting all the time. I would show up for work and the Lieutenant who had his office next to my desk would come over and say, "Look in your desk." I would open my desk top drawer and look way in the back. Sure as hell there they were, a couple boxes of ammo courtesy of the Honolulu taxpayers. The next weekend I would go to the Koko Head Shooting Range and do some blasting. I would always take the empty ammo boxes back to show the Lieutenant. Those were the good old days.
