c1steveIdeally you would obtain some Ivermectin for her. The hospital will let her die rather than use anything simple, low cost, that works.
Ivermectin caps are available through Naturopaths, but not through MDs, etc.
Ivermectin horse paste is easy to buy, but you have to reduce the dose.
I came down with Covid on Friday, and felt good by Monday morning. However I still test positive. Been using Ivermectin every day.

Watch your mouth. What the fuck is wrong with you? Are you brain damaged? Utterly tactless.

I would try to get some Ivermectin. Also, have her Vitamin D levels checked and add some supplements.
I would also tell them to AVOID remdesivir.
Mary is in my prayers.
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

The fact that they did away with the monoclonal antibody treatment was criminal imho. It was a very effective treatment. Especially for people like your mother.
If she has a regular doctor I would consult with them about her situation asap.

HRKThoughts are with you and Mary, if you can, stay on top of it for her, this can be confusing and elderly folks need someone to be their advocate when dealing with these complicated decisions who can ask questions of the medical staff...

h2oysBack in 2021 my spouse and I were both hospitalized with COVID. Myself for 6 days and my wife for 9 days.
All I can say is "prayers said and sent" for both of you. We sincerely hope she recovers like we did, albeit, my spouse with long haul covid.

BigWhupMy Mom, at 91, tested positive on Jan 1st, began two doses a day of Paxlovid on Jan 2nd.
Two days later you would not have know she had Covid. Was back to her normal self.
She got over it faster than my wife and I did.

OKCGeneGod Bless our Mothers who love and always care for us.
FWIW when I had Covid and ended up in the ER and they put oxygen on me I perked right up, breathing wise. I was still sick of course, but the oxygen was a huge relief in the ease and quality of breathing.
May God Bless.
