Sorry, impossible scenario because humans are never all satisfied. Someone will covet another's stuff. Without doubt your scenario could not last more than a few moments. Humans are greedy, lazy, covetous, jealous, and violent by nature. | |||

Aside from the thread title, I'll weigh in that the premise is flawed. People who are content do not stay content, they inevitably want something more. Call this greed or aspiration, but it seems to be without limit, and applies to power and lust as well as material acquisition. So a state where everybody has everything they want cannot exist for long, if at all. One of the many moral failings of the human race, live with it. Socialism may be thought of as a strategy to approach or attain this state (by reducing the constellation of wants to a minimum), one of the many reasons it is doomed as a philosophy. Better to focus on enabling people's aspirations of attaining a goal (as does capitalism). As Spock said so wisely, "sometimes wanting is better than having, it is not logical, but it is true." | |||
