The tournament has been fun to watch. I will watch the final and then might not watch another soccer game for 4 years.......
Next year is the women’s World Cup and the USWNT…

First half was pretty boring, but the second half lived up to the hype. Argentina wins the Malvinas Cup!

stkfoxIn the second half England seemed to adopt the NFL version of “prevent defense” which is sure to allow the opposing team to score.

0-0Funny, we remained coolheaded and confident at home, waiting for the match to start. It was already England 1 Argentina 0.
Then, it started.

0-0

I've got the game on in the background but, friend of mine is texting me what's going on since I'm not too familiar with soccer and the strategies, he texts me the exact same thing:
'oh shit! England is going into a prevent defense with its substitutions, they're going to sit on this one goal lead'
Argentina kept the pressure up, England defenders couldn't clear the ball out, Pickford played out of his mind until he couldn't.
Is this guy going to get a suspension/red card for the next game against France?

Balzé HalzéSo apparently there was a soccer match today where a white country defeated a black Muslim country? Bravo, Argentina.

pbslingerIn the first half, Argentina got 4 yellow cards on I think mainly backfield players, then in the second half played the game in Englands end, which didn't require much from the carded players.

MikeGLIThe pressure Argentina put on England in the 2nd half was incredible, it's funny to see how they play when they're behind.
