If you are a world cup fan there is a great follow of a couple of Germans who are running a thread on X about their USA experience coming over and driving across the South to Auburn GA for the game. It's pretty good and they are high up on the USA>..

Ok, I get where you’re coming from Odd. I’ve been posting WC threads and soccer threads in the lounge for 15 years.

I think we can live with threads in different sections of the forum.

I’m getting ready for tonight’s game, S. Korea v Czechia.

This was a good game.

Korea deserved the win. 2-1 come from behind win.

I have Peacock so I should be able to catch Spanish commentated games. I’ve never really watched soccer but one of my boys started playing a few years ago so I’ve enjoyed playing with him. Going to try to force him to watch some World Cup games. Pretty cool living near where it’s happening, but i won’t be taking him down there for any kind of watch parties. We did look at tickets, but again I really didn’t want anything to do with going down there.

Going to try to watch USA tomorrow…today… if I can. If USA doesn’t win, we are routing for Netherlands since that’s the team my wife randomly picked in her work pool haha.
