Yes, gratifying. I wonder how many other “educators” around the country will break out in a cold sweat when they read the article. ► 6.4/93.6 “I regret that I am to now die in the belief, that the useless sacrifice of themselves by the generation of 1776, to acquire self-government and happiness to their country, is to be thrown away by the unwise and unworthy passions of their sons, and that my only consolation is to be, that I live not to weep over it.” — Thomas Jefferson

You're fooling yourself. These cub reporters took down authority and in doing so, they showed off their chops. This was their first real chance to demonstrate that they can be reporters. There's no way in Hell they would pass up this opportunity. They'll go to college and in doing so they will become fully indoctrinated to hating everything about this nation and will end up trying everything they can to bring it down. In the case of the principal of their school, the truth served their purpose, but they will be taught by other "journalists" that the truth is secondary to advancing a personal agenda, and they will learn that the end justifies the means. To Hell with ethics and the principles of journalism.

Or at least the phonies. It never ceases to amaze me how many there are, made up credentials, phony degrees, etc. There was a member of a very prestigious law firm in San Diego who was not a member of the bar, extremely embarrassing to the partners. We've heard phony doctors, university Presidents, and many others. Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me. When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Phony degrees are more common than I would ever have expected. "Freakonomics Radio" did a report that looked into the problem. They talked to an FBI agent who investigated little else. The numbers were surprising. The fish is mute, expressionless. The fish doesn't think because the fish knows everything.

Yep... it was a chance to stick it to the man. Also, a question they didn't ask: Who did the background and vetting of the principal when she was hired? Why didn't THEY discover the school was a fraud?

I think the people that should be resigning are the ones that hired this person without verifying their education history. I've seen it at work many many times. -------------------- I like Sigs and HK's, and maybe Glocks

Californis confirms the school was never accredited http://www.morningsun.net/news...-accreditation-found Recall in the 1980s I saw a ad in a magazine. As a joke I wrote asking for information. "University of the Columbia of the Pacific" sent quite a packet. Those in my clinic got a kick out of it. Then a social worker from the nearby Air Force base "borrowed" it.he suddenly started calling himself "doctor" and had a big diploma from the school. I'm not sure how far this would have gone. He shot his wife and got 99 years. Real quality guy. “ The work of destruction is quick, easy and exhilarating; the work of creation is slow, laborious and dull.

There was a trust fund hippie on the fringes of a group I was in in San Diego who fancied himself a Doctor of Psychology, from a "university" which was located in an office building clinging to the hillside in Mission Valley. He wasn't the strangest person I knew out there but might have been in the top ten. Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me. What university isn't diploma mill? I've spent the last 25 years at one, they're all pyramid schemes with a football team.
