Checkers. Kissimee, FL. Sad story. Shoulda just driven on.

https://www.fox35orlando.com/n...mplaint-turns-deadly

Mayonnaise request may have led to Checkers employee shooting, killing customer:

According to Osceola County deputies, a witness said the dispute may have been triggered by a missing packet of mayonnaise. Authorities say Mackey exited the restaurant through the drive-thru window, confronted Robertson, and shot him in the chest following a verbal exchange.

obertson collapsed and struck his head on the restaurant wall. Mackey fled the scene on foot, running past nearby attractions before being apprehended. He appeared in court Friday and was denied bond under Florida’s Arthur Hearing provision.

___

"The backstory:

The confrontation began as a typical customer complaint. Robertson reportedly asked multiple times to speak with a manager after receiving his order, possibly frustrated over missing condiments. What followed was an extraordinary escalation, ending in a fatal shooting that stunned the local community and raised concerns over workplace violence, especially in customer service environments."

Impulse control issues.

Offended by everything, ashamed of nothing.

There is an element out there celebrating this. You know EXACTLY who they are, calling it "self defense" and want to raise money for his defense.

Carry, be aware and draw first. No hesitation.

There is a WalMart employee who severely assaulted a woman because she didn't hand her the money, but slid it to her. WalMart is FOOKED over this attack just as Checkers is also.

Alexander is a self-serving charlatan. He got his start here in Dallas ginning up the minority community against the Dallas Police Department. The tone of his rhetoric and the following he got largely contributed to the manufactured outrage that led to the downtown murder of five police officers.

Imagine being so depraved that murdering someone over a packet of mayonnaise is no big deal.

Every time I see things like this, I wonder how much conditioning has to do with it. From a lifetime of Tv, Movies, video games.. where there's no consequences, no after effects. You shoot a guy and get on with your day.

How it affects certain kinds of people, certain kinds of brains, certain personalities.

The victim was White. That's why he's dead - not some dispute over mayo.

I don't think it is conditioning but I believe it is from what the leaders of the past 20 years have been allowing and even promoting. Look at the left now, advocating for people to die/do violence because they don't get their way and helping the evil killers by donating money and fame. I often think of Maxine Waters telling people about not allowing conservatives or any one who doesn't subscribe to their wants/desires, into any place in public and to run them out of town. When we have political leaders advocating for this kind of behavior, we will never have peace or be able to get along with each other ever again.

Most people, no matter how despicable the acts they may have committed, still manage to indicate a spark of hope for redemption. Others are clearly beyond any hope of rehabilitation and the only merciful thing to do for themselves and the rest of society is to end their existence. He is one of the latter.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Yeah? I think it's a lot simpler than that. Shooter was black, victim was white. There, I said it.

Surprising number of mayonnaise killings:

Killing over fight about mayonnaise ends in life sentence for Iowa man

“ Prosecutors say later that night, Erlbacher spotted Solberg outside a café in nearby Pisgah and ran him down with his truck. He doubled back and ran over Solberg twice more to make sure Solberg was dead, officials said, and called Pryor to say he had just killed his brother.”

Customer allegedly shoots Subway workers over too much mayonnaise on sandwich

“ A Subway sandwich customer allegedly shot two employees after he reportedly became angry over too much mayonnaise on his food, officials said.

One employee, a 26-year-old woman, was killed and the other, a 24-year-old woman, was injured in the Sunday evening shooting, Atlanta police said.”

Clearly we need common-sense regulations on mayonnaise. Everyone knows mayonnaise goes bad. IIRC, there even arose a band called Bad Mayonnaise, it is so prevalent. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, eh Para.

I get to see it damn near every day for the past 30 years!

I’ve seen shootings and murders over turkey at thanksgiving.
“That ain’t my baby”
“You hit my car”
“You disrespected me on facebook/some bullshit rap song”
And plenty more “senseless” reasons.

Somewhere, in some convoluted sense, through a fucked up thought process and through the lens of alcohol and drugs, I guess this shit makes sense.
