About 12 years ago I bought a Delta tablesaw off of Craigslist. Its a cabinet saw but not a Uni. Its one of the hybrid models. Its done everything I've ever asked of it so I'm satisfied with the tool. It came minus the right table wing in favor of the extended table set up. I'd like to junk the extended table. I'm having a hard time finding where I can buy this part. Any ideas? If I can get this done for under 800 bucks I'll do that. If not I'll order a Grizzly.

Also my shop is no more than a glorified shed. No heat or AC. So, rust is an issue on all of my power tools. Any thoughts about combating this problem?

You are looking for an original, non-extended wing?

Using the rails provided with my aftermarket fence I built the wing I wanted. The major piece of mine is a commercial, solid wood door. Think mine came from a dumpster at a hospital overhaul/construction site.

Yes, ditching the extending wing for the original. My shop is small and I could use the extra space, plus the extended wing just seems to collect other stuff.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Retired cabinetmaker with 35yrs using the Johnsons Paste Wax for work top surfaces.. be they metal or man made surfaces and even some sealed wood or plywood surfaces.... Good healthy coating then after hazing over then buffing out with a rag.. re-apply as needed...if done correctly a fly trying to land on surface will bust his backside before he can become airborn again.. Plus also slows down the formation of rust on metal surfaces. .................... drill sgt.

In the millwork shop where I worked for 25 years, whenever we had a long weekend we would soak all of the machine cast iron tables with a 50-50 mixture of kerosene and motor oil. Cast iron is porous, so it absorbs a lot of this mixture, seasoning the table. Especially with applications every holiday weekend.

+1 on waxing the table, plus I cover ALL my equipment with a terrycloth towel. Keeps dust/moisture/condensation off.

Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

I am in humid Florida with 7 machines with cast iron tops in a non-climate controlled barn. Rust is my enemy. I use Boeshield T-9 rust preventive, which penetrates the cracks, then wipe it down and apply paste wax to the tables. Then I use HTC machine covers at the end of each day-they have a breathable fabric that stops moisture from settling on the machine but keeps moisture from condensing on the underside. I no longer have a rust problem with my machines. I am probably overkilling it but it hurts my feelings to see a speck of rust on many thousands of dollar's worth of machines. https://www.amazon.com/HTC-TS-...s%2C1381&sr=8-2&th=1
You can see the machine cover here on my table saw

If wood, I'd just cut it down. If cast iron, I'd google model & look for woodwork sites that you might find someone willing to trade. You said $800, but I'd be surprised if you find a source & I'd not pay that much.
Does it extend past the rip fence? That's already wasted space an extension comes in handy more than it's in the way, IMO.
I'm slowly getting a cast iron extension built/setup that will bolt to the right wing & just barely past the fence guides. A lucky junk acquirement that will have a router built in. Got all the major pieces now, just need time when the shop's not nasty hot to figure out how to mount it & add a leg or 2. I should be in it for <$100 and some time.

I assume you are looking for a cast iron wing.
You can get one of these and easily modify the bolt holes

Have you offered up your extended wing as trade locally for the stock wing? I’m sure someone’s out there would make that trade.
