At my last house I had a 2”x4” screwed into the bottom of the cabinets that sat above my workbench. I took 8 glass jars and screwed the lids into the bottom of the 2”X 4” and filled each jar with different hardware. It was super easy to see what was in what jar and if you needed anything it was a couple of twist of the jar for access to them.

My new bench does not have cabinets over it so I bought a nice plastic divider from amazon. It’s terrible because it’s hard to see exactly what’s in each one.

I use the Milwaukee Packout to carry and store screws. The lid locks. I am sure its not exactly what your looking for but you never know.

Check out Rubbermade Take Along containers. I use a smaller size for lesser quantities of fasteners but I am sure they have one closer to what you need. Very reasonably priced, look pretty good and if damaged just toss it and get a new one. Kind of like lighter weight Tupperware. I think I got a stack of them on Amazon or at Costco. I like that I can Magic Marker the size on the lid.

I had a friend who stored small screws and hobby parts like this in baby food jars. I have a lot of screws and nails in the plastic peanut butter jars that someone else suggested. I'm planning to combine the two ideas if I ever get a bigger shop with enough room to set it up the right way.

I also have some screws, nuts, and bolts in square plastic freezer containers I've had since grad school in the 80s. Those were cheap and I can't recall ever wearing one out.

I have the DeWalt version of this. They work well but I want single boxes that way if all I need is 3 inch deck screws. I can grab one box and go, and not have to lug around a big case full of 12 different screw sizes.

Glad I could help.

If you get them, please write few words, I'm curious if they work as well, as they look.

I've been using those for decades. Perfect solution for me.

ag111ga, Home Depot has those Buddeez containers in an 8 pack of the .6 quart under the Husky brand for ~$22. They are awesome. Thick sturdy plastic, the lids are tightly held on, and the lift lid snaps closed. I have found my solution, thank you. I’m going to be buying some of the 1 quart containers also. If not at HD, then Amazon. You can get red, blue, and yellow lids.

Thank you, that's what I wanted to know before I ordered.
I'm in Denmark and, of course, they're not available here or the EU for that matter, so the prices, inc. shipping, VAT and other fees, will be completely different. I'll have to think about it, may end up with some locally available cheap Tupperware instead.
