I remember him on major networks (ABC?), and thought him sensationalistic.
But I have been watching his channel on YouTube.
I found it interesting that his leanings are a lot less leftist.

He’s a big libertarian. Was a rare honest news person.
My college’s econ department ( I was an econ major) brought him to campus to give a speech and sell his book. “Give me a break” I got an autographed copy and shook his hand. That was ~25 years ago. Interesting guy. Have casually followed his YouTube channel. Worth the time to watch.

I think he was kicked off ABC for being too right and logical.

He was never leftist or sensationalistic. His reports on ABC were always great for calling out the sensational bullshit of those days.

Maybe that's why I remember his reporting.
I can't recall anything by Brian Williams and Dan Rather. Other than shameful leanings.
