Either I have extremely low standards or you guys are all married to beauty queens. I have been to a lot of Hooters over the years and have very seldom seen a waitress that I would not be happy to go out with.

That's how the forums work . Every man has a beauty Queen for a wife . Everyone owns at least one Rolex . Nobody has a mortgage . Everybody pays their credit card balance in full every month . Their investments earn at least 28% return every year , and on and on . Don't take people too seriously . ![]()

Then for the love of all that is holy, don't go to the Wing Stop in Kissimmee. You'd be better off fucking the fried fish, would probably enjoy it more, and wouldn't need penicillin shots. "I vowed to myself to fight against evil more completely and more wholeheartedly than I ever did before. . . . My then 5 year old son had mentioned wanting Hooters after driving past on several occasions. I explained that only big boys eat there, and it's not something we would do as a family. One night at a party my neighbor was throwing one of his female coworkers was complaining about the guys at the party not seeming to be into her. My son approached her as she sat with all of these guys, asked for her number, and got it. I later explained that was a very big boy thing to do. According to him, now that I told him he's a big boy he can eat at Hooter's, right? I end up with a job right next to a Hooter's. I tell him if he goes with me, I'll buy him dinner to celebrate his accomplishment. We arrive, are seated, and the server takes our order. About the third time she comes by he engages her in conversation. He explains that he's a big boy now because he got a girl's number, AND she was 21. She stares at him silently, and he asks why she's looking at him. She asks if she's not good looking enough for him because he hasn't asked her for her number. He tells her he'll take it. A minute later she drops back by with it. Just like the first, the real number. He's a bit more bashful now at 13, but at 5 he had a pretty good game. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

There used to be a Hooters by our plant in Norcross GA. They had a good Buffalo chicken breast sandwich - but it came with silicone implants.

Great story! Cute, too... both she and your son, of course. "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

No, your wife still won't go. And neither will you... Hooters Ends Bikini Nights In 'Family Friendly' Bid To Avoid Bankruptcy With Hooters on the verge of bankruptcy, the legendary restaurant where you can eat mediocre food and check out tits is getting rid of Bikini Nights and skimpy outfits, and hopes that an improvement in the food will stave off doom. Neil Kiefer, CEO of parent company HMC Hospitality Group, told Bloomberg he's calling the 'family friendly' changes "re-Hooterization." "You go to some parts of the country and people say, ‘Oh, I could never go to Hooters, my wife would kill me," said Kiefer. "That’s depressing to us. We want to change that." According to the report, Hooters also plans to use fresher ingredients in the kitchen and provide faster service. https://www.zerohedge.com/poli...bid-avoid-bankruptcy "Some things are apparent. Thank you Very little ![]() |
Local Winghouse closed as well, basically a clone of Hooters but better wings. We went there all the time on a Thursday motorcycle ride. Now it's a single location local company we used to ride to for wings. Haven't been back in a while though. I smoke wings on the Traeger now, or get them from Costco, they are frozen but are really good, but I can't get the wife to serve them to me in shorty shorts though, does save on the Press Here to Tip button though...This message has been edited. So... I guess the 'Family Friendly' Bid wasn't the way to go. I think these guys know it's gonna take not just boobs, but better food: The buyer group is backed by some of Hooters’ original founders, and it pledged to take Hooters “back to its roots.” “With over 30 years of hands-on experience across the Hooters ecosystem, we have a profound understanding of our customers and what it takes to not only meet, but consistently exceed their expectations,” said Neil Kiefer, a member of the buyer group and the current CEO of the original Hooters’ location in Clearwater, Florida. The problem with Hooters was the food quality as time went on. In the earlier years they actually had REALLY good raw bar and sports bar food which quality declined as time went on.

The success of a solution usually depends upon your point of view |
We used to love Hooters. We would eat there weekly. Our waitress used to bring us free wings and beer now and then (I still think she was charging them to the drunk businessmen at the next table over). My friend married her and she was one of my wife's best friends for 30+ years until we list her to cancer. My wife never felt uncomfortable there and the staff always doted on the kids. Its all about the food. The food went downhill and other wing places came along with better wings for a better price. Hooter's mistake from when they first opened was thinking that people only went there for the view and the food wouldn’t matter. It is too late now for them to fix it. I remember when we got orders to Great Lakes in the late 90s we were excited when we found out there was a Hooters down in Shamburg (sp?) IL, it was like a piece of home. “We truly live in a wondrous age of stupid.” - 83v45magna "I think it's important that people understand free speech doesn't mean free from consequences societally or politically or culturally." -Pranjit Kalita, founder and CIO of Birkoa Capital Management
