Falco holsters, how are they?
I was looking for an OWB dual mag pouch and stumbled on Falco's line of holsters and accessories and I like the look of them. After looking at them I'm not contemplating buying a new belt, holster and mag pouch combo. I just wanted to see if anyone here has any and what they think of them. I'm mainly looking for something that won't be too bulky under a suit coat.

I tried a search but you know how that went.

I have no experience with them, but your posting inspired me to check out their website. I like their designs and prices. My only reservation at this point is the company is in Slovakia which is next to Ukraine. I’d be a little hesitant ordering from them until the turmoil in Eastern Europe is settled.

Are Falco and Craft holsters the same?

I've had good luck with Craft holsters.
And liked Craft's quality.

I have a Falco shoulder holster for a Makarov. It’s good enough with two notable and fatal flaws.

The snap holding the thumb strap closed is not positive enough at staying closed.

And the detail boning/molding on the holster itself will not hold the Mak in place.

I bought it back when Maks were cheap and cool.

Did you try tapping on the "male" part of the snap to make it expand? I have done that on lots off snaps, coats, jeans, ect.
Go slow so you don't get them to flat/expanded to work at all.

Integrity is doing the right thing, even when nobody is looking.

Hey there!

We're two different companies, but Falco is one of our co-producers, so you can see a number of their holsters on our offer too.

We also offer our own line of products + some more models made for us by another co-producer.

In case you want to ask about anything specific related to our offer, feel free to contact our customer service at "support@craftholsters.com".

I ordered a Falco last year. I wanted a sturdy leather IWB for my G19.

I'm happy with it. At the time I had to wait about 6 weeks for it to ship. I believe they produce holsters as they are ordered which is why it takes a while.

I've got a Falco shoulder holster for an HK P7. Sold the gun years ago, and while the buyer bought one of my holsters, he skipped on this one... so, other than testing the gun in the rig and trying it for fit, I really never used the rig and won't comment on its durability or everyday function.

The rig seems relatively well made for a production leather holster. The snaps on mine seemed to secure tightly. The other hardware seems to work. The metal keepers that hold up the loose tag ends seem a little flimsy with a tiny gap between the two ends, but then again they really aren't bearing any load and may not need to be very sturdy. The stitching seems good.

The holster is designed so that if the user wanted to go through the minor hassle to remove the shoulder straps they could use the holster on a narrow belt, such as a dress belt. The holster leather is probably a tad on the thick side and stiff, but I would think still plenty concealable. The mag pouch leather is of average thickness. The leather shoulder straps are on the thin side (thickness wise), and would probably hide well under a suit jacket. They use the wider contoured straps to better distribute the weight, and to help keep the rig from shifting around a lot.

Standard fabric for the tie downs.

The leather tends to have a slight sheen to it, but perhaps with wear and use it would dull down a bit.

The package literature indicates that Falco has a 5 year guarantee, although I don't know if this is still true. As mentioned, they appear to be a Slovakian company.

I had some better quality photos of the rig but the hard drive they reside on is inop, as is my digital camera, so these poor quality phone pics will have to do.
