Ok, for those of you who have and have used their Snow Pushers: What size(s) have you used?

My purpose will be for the lighter snowfalls, that don't amount to enough for a snow thrower to make sense. On the one hand I'd want to clear as wide a swath as possible in one go, but not end up with a shovel so wide it's unmanageable.

I'm kind of leaning toward a 30" model.

The best snow shovel is the one you never have to use. We bought one (snow plow & bent handle version) when we moved to northern AZ twenty years ago. We seldom get more than 3-4" accumulation until last winter so it never got used.

That week we received 22" in one week. That shovel got a workout. I wanted to buy a second but hardware stores had none in stock anywhere in the county.

I'm in WI. I use a 48" and a 30" snowplow. I think for a do all, a 30" or 36" would be my choice. The benefit of a larger shovel allows for overflow without leaving stripes while still taking a decent amount of snow with each pass. I don't know if that makes sense...

I have a 30" pusher and one of their scoops, when I worked with my brother for his snow removal company he had several of the 36" that were over 12 years old.

I like them because you can use them to chop ice and flip them over and scrape the hard pack like the tire tracks on the driveway.

Update & Review

I bought the 30 in. snow pusher and their Dominator. Assembled them, hung them in the garage and waited.

Wouldn't you know it: Just like the winter I upgraded the snow thrower: Little to no snow

But we did have one light snow perfect for shoveling. Both the pusher and the shovel performed well.

Then came the Friday-night-into-Saturday-morning snow yesterday and the day before. We got about five inches of it. This stuff was so wet it was nearly not snow. Used the snow thrower to move most of it. But the pusher was great for cleanup, and the shovel for the smaller areas.

At about midnight, last night, I realized the road plow had some through at about 18:00. Now the temps were down to a bit below freezing, and dropping. "I best get out there and clear the end-of-driveway stuff while I still can," I told my wife. The Dominator made short work of that.

One thing I like, in particular, is the material they use is relatively un-sticky. I won't say some snow won't sometimes stick to them a bit, but it's usually relatively minor when it does happen. This, alone, is a big boon in my book.

So, between the snow pusher, the snow shovel, and shipping I spent nearly $100. Was it worth it? For me a resounding "Yes!"
