Spotting Scope external display
Recently a senior parent noted they are having difficulty seeing the eagles and hawks that visit the carcass pile on the farm. Seems the 12 power binoculars are too tough to hand hold and a tripod is 'too complicated'.

I'm thinking of getting a spotting scope that can be mounted in the bay window. Does anyone know of an adapter / device that allows an image from a spotting scope to be displayed on some kind of monitor? Perhaps something that magnifies the eyepiece. Screen size could be anything from smart phone to IPad.

Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.

Thank You

I don't have any experience but here is one for $129 with a cellphone adapter to take pictures or videos.

Looks like you set the cellphone camera in the center of the eyepiece.

There is a guy, at our long range shoots, who has an adapter for his iPhone so it can be mounted to his spotting scope. The iPhone is connected through apple TV to a monitor.

I think the mount is something like these.

The Phoneskope is a nice unit.
Unfortunately grandma thinks it's too complicated to use so they have gone back to the binoculars and taking glasses off to view thru the spotting scope.

Aargh!
