At Hobby Lobby a couple days before Christmas and they had really nice trees at 2/3 off. As ours was falling apart, we got a super 7 1/2' tree. This was their last one, no box. It'll break down into three sections. Not gonna put it in the attic bare, probably become a spider ranch. The best I can figure is cinching the sections up and wrapping them in a tarp or a plastic drop cloth. Any better ideas? Set the controls for the heart of the Sun.

They make xmas tree bags. Made out of tarp like material with a long zipper along one side. Also these https://www.amazon.com/Zober-C...a-379447124373&psc=1

I have a similar situation. I bought a 7' artificial tree from Lowe's that also breaks down into 3 sections. It's instructions do say how to store it, using the original box. The lower 2 tree sections fold upward, as do the bottom limbs of the upper piece. When new, each part was wrapped in light bubble wrap and tied with wire. I guess I'll try to follow the storage instructions. flashguy Texan by choice, not accident of birth

We bought a very large zippered bag, like the one recommended above. We used to use an enormous plastic bin, but the bag works better. Separate the tree into sections, place into the bag. The ornaments, garland, etc., go in plastic bins.

Damn, sounds like a plan. I expect the tree will outlast the dedicated bag, then...lawn bags! Set the controls for the heart of the Sun.

We have a 6’ tree and we bought a large Rubbermaid type tote with small wheels on it. Seals well enough and stacks nicely with the other Christmas boxes.
