First, would the naysayers please restrain themselves. We already know that it’s not “The Real Deal” that horseradish connoisseurs demand. That said, I like the stuff. Awhile back I could buy it online, including Amazon, but no longer. So I’m looking for a creamy horseradish sauce that tastes much like Arby’s Horsey Sauce. Open for suggestions…This message has been edited. Last edited by: Pipe Smoker, Serious about crackers

Woeber's Sandwich Pal is pretty good. Should be able to buy it local as well as online. https://shop.wegmans.com/produ...al-horseradish-sauce I'm alright it's the rest of the world that's all screwed up!

Go inside to an Arby’s and buy a roast beef sandwich as a “To Go” order. Then when they hand you your order in a paper sack, go over to the condiments station and take every one of those little packets. Sure, you’ll probably be banded from that particular Arby’s, but visit other ones, wash-rinse-repeat. --------------------- DJT-45/47 MAGA !!!!! A google search for “Arby’s Horsey Sauce” produces dozens of “just like…” recipes. A LOT of folks must like it. A mystery that Arby’s offered it for only a limited time. Serious about crackers

I can't help you with an alternative, but I gotta say that 2BobTanner has a very good suggestion. Hell, you don't even need to go inside. They give you lots of packets, if you ask them. Beaver brand creamy horseradish sauce is good. It's a little stronger than Arby's version but you can cut it with some mayonnaise if you want. Jim ________________________ "If you can't be a good example, then you'll have to be a horrible warning" -Catherine Aird

I read the initial post and this is the exact product I use on my roast beef at home. Montgomery Inn BBQ Sauce is what I use instead of Arby’s Sauce at the house. It is a touch sweeter compared to Arby’s but pairs well with the horseradish sauce. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. If we got each other, and that's all we have. Another vote for this. I always keep a bottle in the fridge. Definitely one of the best pre-made sauces I’ve tried. "You know, Scotland has its own martial arts. Yeah, it's called Fuck You. I'm a fan of Atomic Horseradish, straight up, but when I go to Arby's I always use a lot of their horsey sauce. It's definitely good. Good luck in your search.

Best on a full slab, with Saratoga Chips and a Draft of Teds Amber Ale, preferably at the Boathouse, on a nice summer evening.....

I picked up Beano's Heavenly Horseradish Sauce from Publix. Pretty good stuff. Rick Texting.......easier than calling.

It tastes like it’s based on Miracle Whip as a base, NOT mayonnaise. I’d try mixing a little grated horseradish in a jar into Miracle Whip and maybe S&P and I’ll bet you that’s going to be close.

I should’ve mentioned that I’ve auditioned two creamy horseradish sauces so far. Thumann’s Creamy Horseradish: 1. Doesn’t taste at all like Arby’s. 2. Isn’t particularly tasty either. 3. Practically no heat. Three strikes on three pitches. Gone. Beano’s Heavenly Horseradish: 1. Somewhat similar to Arby’s. 2. Tasty. 3. Some heat. Still a viable candidate. And I have three more candidates for Arby’s Horsey Sauce replacement on hand, but untried as yet: * Heinz Premium Horseradish * Beaver Cream Horseradish * Inglehoffer Cream Style Horseradish I’ll report on them later. It’s been a while since I’ve had any of those, but I think Heinz is probably going to be closest to what you’re looking for. ______________________________________________ “There are plenty of good reasons for fighting, but no good reason ever to hate without reservation, to imagine that God Almighty Himself hates with you, too.”
