corsairSports memorabilia
I used to collect baseball cards, I'm pretty sure I kept the goods ones and they're in a box somewhere in the garage. Now the only memorabilia I have was a gift, of two seats from Candlestick Park signed by Willie Mays and Willie McCovey.

I have several basketballs signed by Shaq, including what I think is the first NBA ball he ever signed. We did some car audio work for him when he was at LSU, and for a number of years after that.
When he came around the shop people would get balls for him to sign. He came by once right after he was drafted, and I bought an official NBA ball for about $100. He signed it, but with his LSU #, and I have several photos of him with my son, who was about 1 at the time.
I also have a dress shoe of his, but didn’t get it signed.
My cousins son is a part owner of Freds bar next to LSU. He paid Shaq a lot of money for one appearance at Freds. It paid off!
He will take 40 bartenders to an LSU football game. Great guy! One day I will go down and see Freds for myself.

I can see it from where I'm sitting and it looks great on the fireplace mantle.

goose5I came by my most prized piece quite by accident. A co-worker of my wife was given a pile of Colorado Avalanche broken sticks. She gave them to us. My son piled out the car with them very excited. He said, "Claude Lemieux signed one!" Years later I was looking at that very stick and noticed the first name didn't start with a C. It was clearly an M.

Nolan Ryan was a beast! If he gave you some chin music or pluncked you and you charged the mound he would charge back and beat the living shit out of you! He didn't back down to anyone!!

400mHe was a beast. Only two pitchers that have amassed 3000 strikeouts are not in the HOF (Clemens and Schilling). Nolan almost doubled that with 5714.
