.38supersigDaylight Wasting Time is Upon Us.
Set your clocks this weekend.
We get to watch out for trick-or-treaters for now.
There will be more light in the morning next week so (hopefully) nobody mows down any school kids waiting for the bus...
Also check the batteries in your smoke detector if you get bored this weekend.

MelissaDallasI sleep so much better when it gets dark earlier. All DST does here is make it hellishly hot until after midnight on the nights it doesn’t drop below 90.

Crap. I thought it was 2:00 AM on Sunday. Still sucks for the duty watch section.

ridewvSunset now at 6:15 is bad enough, I hate that it's soon to be 5:15.
No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

KrazeehorseIm with ridewv…… I’d rather have the light at the end of the day instead of the beginning. Stay on DST.

Tooky13We agree with the old Indian Proverb here in Arizona...
We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution.

sigspecopsI absolutely hate standard time. People are okay with darkness at 5pm? I want as much daylight as possible after I leave work.

Some people don't want their kids waiting for the bus in the morning when it's still dark out. Not everyone is going to be happy about some aspect of the time change. So what? Like every year, you get used to it. It will never change one way or the other because half the people prefer Standard time and half the people prefer Daylight Savings time. The vote will never get to the point of actually passing a new law.

Sacramento JohnsonNevada is a wide state; Reno is farther west than LA, while Vegas is like 250 miles east of LA. I would rather the state did something like Indiana; the western part in pacific time, the eastern part in mountain time like in Arizona (and no daylight savings nonsense!), but it will never happen.
I despise standard time here in Vegas; sunset will occur around 4:30 by mid November and stay that way throughout December and only get to 5pm by the end of January. I'd rather it was dark longer in the morning.

sourdough44Well, there are only so many hours & minutes of daylight in a day. Regardless of clock changes, we have less minutes in the N hemisphere in the winter.
If a few get moved from evening to morning, not sure it matters that much. So I guess I can take it either way, no biggie.

airsoft guyLets just choose one and stick with it, enough with this jerking off, flip flopping back and forth. Oh I like light it light when I wake up! I like it light when I get off from the dildo factory! I live right on the equator so it doesn't really do anything to me! 0500 is 0500, that's it, lets just do that, and if it's dark when you think it should be light you just deal with it, or move to fucking Alaska.
