One night, one of the hotels front desks got burglarized. Guy called the front desk to get the clerk away and jumped the counter to steal cash.

I found the guy walking about 3/4 of a mile away. After the arrest, I got a warrant for his phone, and we tied him to a bunch of the car burglaries with it, but only because they were reported to begin with.
