"I vowed to myself to fight against evil more completely and more wholeheartedly than I ever did before. . . . That’s the only way to pay back part of that vast debt, to live up to and try to fulfill that tremendous obligation."

Alfred Hornik, Sunday, December 2, 1945 to his family, on his continuing duty to others for surviving WW II.

I'm taking a wild guess that your a Red Wings fan. I have a puck signed by Gordy Howe.

If you would really, really like to have the puck I would send it to you. It's been on my bookcase
for twenty five years. I'm not a huge hockey fan. I like to go to the Cincinnati Cyclones games in person
but I don't watch NHL on tv. My email is in my profile. Smile

I'm old enough to remember when they played without helmets...

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Dang super fuckin’ cool! Post up a pic when ya get it, that’s awesome Schmelby.

As to this thread, there are just too many great jerseys throughout the history of the game. Been a Kings fan since I was a kid, grew up watching 90’s kings so the Chevy logo jerseys are classic to me…
Alright I’d probably go:
Kings (Homer choice)
Flyers
Flames
Bruins
Avalanche
Honorable mention to the OG Ducks even though they were the nemesis, I think it’s the nostalgia of watching and appreciating how great Kariya and Selanne were…

Flyers
Blackhawks
Blues

I received the puck and cert. of authenticity this week. It's very cool and today had a chance to check it out in sunlight.

Thanks again to Schmelby for the very generous gift
