Skins2881Thanks everyone, feels good to get some attaboys from both work and my invisible friends. Been having a real bad last few months, nothing I feel like elaborating on at the moment, but this is a win I'll take.
It's exciting and a little scary to take the position. I applied for a lead engineer in a smaller building, but got this position instead. Just due to the sheer size of the building it will be a lot of work. Also the building was built in two phases with vastly different equipment from one half to the other so it adds a little more complexity to the job. The building has 35-40 2MW generators, each big enough to power 100 homes and over 1,000 pieces of various other equipment that needs to be monitored and maintained. Looking forward to the challenge! Officially started today, but I got my office set up and started unofficially last week.
