Question about old Toyota Gear Driven Bottle Jack..
I picked up an EC old genuine Toyota gear driven bottle jack at a yard sale for $2. The quality is outstanding and I can certainly use it in my driveway car repair hobby.

But I can't figure out what kind of drive bar to get, what it's called, or where to get one. I'm guessing some kind of "J hook" type configuration that would hook into the closed loop grear drive thingy.

Do you guys know what that type of jointed or unjointed style of drive bar that is called, and where I might find one ?

Anything around 1984 Toyota truck should work, they came with an extension to lower the spare tire also.

Try this site for info.

I still have one from a '76 Datsun pickup along with the bar with j-hook on one end and the other squared off to accept a drive handle to spin it. 1 1/2 ton, still works great.

Thanks guys, all your posts got me started. I ordered an old factory Subaru one piece emergency roadside crank rod on Ebay that should fit that little guy. I had forgotten how useful Ebay was, seems you can find almost anything you might want for solving problems for your cars and garage. If it doesn't work I'll go with the Toyota part that SR025 recommended.

Thanks again.
