Ironically, my next-door neighbor was on her show because of something he claimed was done to his building by a ferret. No, I won't explain it more because he is the original Neighbor From Hell. Use your imagination. Unfortunately, that episode was broadcast on January 20, 2017, pre-empted by Something Important, and never re-shown. I can't even find it on YouTube. Reports from people whose TV channels weren't pre-empted are that he fooled Judge Judy and got away with it. Frankly I love the show. Mainly because I enjoy someone telling losers and leaches living off of the taxpayers that they are just that. Lots of democrats on that show. | |||

I was on Judge Joe. Both he and Judy were the same production company, on the same sound stage, with the same audiences moving back and forth between sets. Like most of what you see on TV, it's TV. What you see isn't exactly what's going on. | |||

^^^ Yep. It's entertainment. The success is primarily because the cases are a "Reader's Digest" version of shit we all put up with, and realize it is either going to cost us more resources, time and energy to "get justice", or we will get more grief for our efforts. So, we can watch and relate while JJ slaps down people that earn it and it provides a bit of proxy vindication. And yeah, we also get to "disagree" when she "gives it to the wrong person", but then, we all have been that "underdog" and taken that beating by "the man", so it salves those wounds as well.
