Incredible restraint shown by these officers. I know they have body cams on and they know it too. If there were no body cams, I think he may have fallen a few times and suffered some injuries.
I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not.

Good show for the APD. The initial responding officer did great. The restraint those officers showed was remarkable.
As for the perp: Low IQ, drugged up, lowlife with no conscience, impulse control or situational awareness. Too bad he didn’t brandish a knife or something and get an express ride to room temperature.

One example of stupid criminal response to Cop story: As a DOD cop, I had to work a WPAFB housing area known as Page Manor. Or Page Manure. There were several alleyways in the complex and I would walk them at night in hope of catching garage burglars. At about 0330, I stepped out into the alley from a side yard and came face to face with a man carrying a portable TV. Me: "Taking your TV for a walk? Kinda late"! Burglar: "Why are you fucking with me"? I am minding my own business"! Foot chase ensues. TV gets dropped. Me: "Wait! You dropped your TV"! When caught, his car was full of stolen property. Big surprise!
