I'm not sure the earbud types offer equal protection compared to those that enclosed the ears.

I hate shooting indoor for this very reason.

For most indoor range if people are shooting pistols, I think any electronic over the ear should be fine.

Once someone starts shooting long guns or pull out a .44, then you'd probably want to throw in a disposable inside the over the ear.

I have found the Peltor 500 to be very good in most indoor situation without having to add an additional ear plug.

Whichever model you decide, you MUST replace it with GEL CUPS. It's a game changer.

Thanks for the link. I ordered the JTS M20BT ( an upgraded version of the Earmor I presume).
They seems to fit fine but I was concerned about replacement tip and the ones I got on Amazon fit perfect (same post diameter in Med) in case anyone else was looking. There are also the same tips in S,L I assume.

So just a quick update on the Axil. I've worn them for x2 Pistol Classes w/ Force Solutions. (Shameless Plug) Here in ATL. Incase you care: https://forcesolutions.co/

Both classes were around 7 hours of wearing them non-stop. Performed well and I honestly forget I'm wearing them after about 30 mins or so. They hold a charge and I've never had them crap out on me in a range session.

After testing them a little more. I'd definitely recommend for pistol shooting. Rifle with break is right at the edge. For a rifle class I'd probably go back to ear muffs for a high round count class. I've probably shot 1,200-1,500 9mm if I had to estimate with them in the ported 365XL. But no issues at all.
