There are a lot of worse outfits they could wear.

I will go without coffee before I have any Starbucks. Particularly at hotels.

Never been a fan of SB coffee, will say that the 2 closest to my house have very courteous [though not quite CFA level] employees.
I've never paid much notice to their attire, but usually do drive thru. Only ever really noticed the green aprons.

Uniforms are a fact of life. Football players are proud of what they wear to work. People pay big money for some of them.
Many blue collar jobs require uniforms and safety gear they have to wear. Let the Starbucks workers join the unemployment line.

Company that built it's business model on pretentious douchebaggery gets surprised when their staff acts like entitled douchebags? Is it too much to hope that the whole company goes out of business and they all lose their jobs?

Cause they don't get paid enough and Starbucks doesn't give them enough benefits?

Maybe I should walk into the local Starbucks and ask about that. Reports I heard on the radio last week stated that employees get about $18 an hour, which leapt to about $30 when benefits were calculated in.

God bless America.

Who determines that?

I'm retired now . but ever since High School I have never held a job that did not have some kind of required clothing , if not a uniform .
As for Starbucks coffee . If they all closed down tomorrow it wouldn't change my life in the slightest .
