Gettin' a little love from the grandson.

Getting used to the new house. Big ol' beef bone for a housewarming treat. Not the least bit food aggressive. I got right down beside her and made like I was gnawing on it, she never twitched a whisker.

She has the most beautiful silver-gray undercoat that really shines in the sun. With that pitch black face and the silver undercoat, it wouldn't be hard to mistake her for a wolf.

She's about half leash-trained and knows the basic commands. Just need to continue with that. Shouldn't be hard, she's VERY smart. Will also work on socializing her around strangers, crowds and traffic.

I'll try not to bore y'all with too many pictures, but it's like having a new baby in the house. Sorta sucks that "the house" is 20 miles away tho.

Beautiful dog! So it's the grandson's dog which is 20 miles from you?

No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

Well, technically, it's "my" dog seeing as I paid for most of her and she's AKC registered in my name.

Due to my wife's allergies, she lives with my daughter and grandson who are 20 miles away.

They have a pup coming from the same breeder (different sire and dam) that will be ready about the 1st of November.

I'll be spending more time that usual there. Big Grin They live right on the edge of the nearest town that has decent shopping so we go there a couple of times a month anyway.
