Flamin Hot Cool Ranch Doritos
Heard about these on the radio well before the Superb Owl commercials.

Been on the lookout & they had some in stock today on my weekly grocery run.

They've got quite a bite to them & a bit less of the cool ranch flavor, but they're pretty good.

6 out of 10 for me. Needs a bit more bite.

Have you seen those boxes that contain one single dangerously spicy Dorito? It's like five bucks but I'm succumbing to the temptation.

Plenty of bite for me, but I don’t like too much of a bite.

Would it be cheaper to just buy a Ghost pepper, eat it and then eat regular doritos?

Lol
The OP chips aren't that spicy.
They've got some bite, but not terribly.

The paqui one chip, is another story completely.

Meh. They have so much of that weak, red powder on them, they taste just like the regular hot Doritos.

I was excited about them when I saw them, but I feel like they let too much of the cool ranch flavor go to get the heat. I want regular cool ranch chips with the heat cranked up to 11, I'm just not a fan of their "flaming hot" flavor profile.

"The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people."
"Odd," said Arthur, "I thought you said it was a democracy."
"I did," said Ford, "it is."
"So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously obtuse, "why don't the people get rid of the lizards?"
"It honestly doesn't occur to them. They've all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they've voted in more or less approximates the government they want."
"You mean they actually vote for the lizards."
"Oh yes," said Ford with a shrug, "of course."
"But," said Arthur, going for the big one again, "why?"
"Because if they didn't vote for a lizard, then the wrong lizard might get in."

They are very good. Purchased a bag from Wally world a couple of weeks ago for $3.50. finished it in about a week. Definitely recommended as long as you're not paying convenient store prices.

Edited to add: I don't have a problem with the heat from any Flamin' Hot chip varieties. I enjoy it.

I bought and ate the Flaming Hot Cheetoes once. Once. That was an unpleasant experience. Glowing red encrusted fingers and tongue, burning mouth.

I don't know if I got an extra potent bag, but I could only eat a few before I had to close the small bag and set it aside. That level of heat is ridiculous. After the first 3 or 4 I couldn't taste the flavor, only the burn.

There was a variety pack of chips and I grabbed the Doritos' Spicy Sweet Chili...not bad. Wasn't awful and while it isn't going into the standard chip rotation, I now know.

I visited Ireland about 15-years ago, went into a gas station store and grabbed some snacks, right there on the stand was LATINA flavored Doritos Eek It was then I discovered that things marketed in the US is slightly different than over there...it was Salsa Verde flavor that we're familiar with.

Salsa Verde was my favorite back in high school, haven't seen it on grocery shelves in a long time.

I agree with some of the above, these need a bit more cool ranch flavor, the heat either overpowers it, or they cut too much of the ranch for it.

While not a "go-to," I actually don't mind those. Getting your fingers and tongue encrusted is part of eating any Cheetos. If you think those are bad, don't eat Andy Capp's Hot Fries. Those burned going out about 10 hours later, and weren't that great to start with.

I really dig them hot Cheetos, but not the red fingers afterward.
