How much gas did it take to move it out or did they come and get it?

I loaded it with the fork lift on my tractor and hauled it. Scrap yard is about 10 miles away. Probably $10 for fuel for the truck and the tractor.

Like Skins2881, it's more about being responsible than trying to make money. My other option for cleaning up would have been to take it to the town transfer station and putting it in their dumpster for nothing.

Prior to this yard opening, the next nearest scrap yard was more like 70 miles away. In that case, I'd have taken it to the transfer station and saved the fuel.

Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

Like PH, if the place wasn't less than 5 miles from home and .5 miles from supply house I always go to, it'd trashed. When you make it easy to be green, I'm happy to do so.
