| So. With this new phone I have the ability to post image links. The thing is, I don't know if it works that everyone can see the pictures. I didn't get any comments on the link I posted on the first page, so I still don't know. Could someone check see if it works and let me know. Thank you. |

| My 6 string Warwick is my gigging bass. However, I recently started playing the Ric a lot and enjoy the 4 strings. Of course there is more neck movement with the 4 compared to the 6. I never played a 3 string. How's that work? Tuning of strings? |

Amp rigs vary from small (aka back saving) Mark Bass combo 12 with 300w/500w built in head. This amp is the bread and butter for small jazz gigs and musical theater. For cabinets I run Bergantinos- 1 with a 12 and a horn and another with a 12. These cabs sound amazing.
For effects, I run EBS compression all the time and have a syrupy sweet EBS chorus pedal for ballads, etc. For extra emphasis, sometimes I use an octave pedal.
Bass is lot's of fun creating the perfect groove with a good drummer.
First. I'm not a Bass player, I'm a drummer. If I wasn't a drummer, I would most definitely be a Bass player. I just play at a local watering hole with a group of friends a couple of times a month (No Cover, and No Pay). LOL The Bass is cool. It and the drums are the Rhythm section. Nothing feels better to me than to be locked into a good Bass player. I have also played with a few Bass with players that only knew where "1" was.  Either way, it's hell of fun to play with others. It's nice to see so many enjoy it. |
