Slight thread drift Big NC, Are you enough of a geek to have several of the malkoff drop ins that I think are ilumn exclusives? The Nichia 213B are beautiful neutrals.

Another vote for Malkoff. I have six Surefire 6P's I bought on surplus all with Malkoff drop-ins. Combine the 6P and a Malkoff drop-in for a quality on/off flashlight. Surefire 6P's are commonly available new old stock on E-bay. Use 2-CR123's. I've gone to single KeepPower 16650 rechargeable batteries, XTAR VP2 charger. I'll probably get a Malkoff MD2 with a High/Low ring with a M61NL head. I like/appreciate the dirt simple user interface.

Damn you, SIGforum enablers. MUST..RESIST..BUYING..ANOTHER..FLASHLIGHT! ETA: I am weak. I just ordered the PD32. I guess I can tell myself they're cheaper than guns. It may be time for an intervention.

Perhaps. Lol. 219a V1 and 219b V2 only though - didn't go for any of the new V3 Craig got because, we'll they weren't necessities and I'm a bit pinched at the moment. And only m31 and m61 in different LL, L and full power versions. ***************** Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. - Ben Franklin

Just ordered the Fenix PD32 and the 20% discount helped a bunch. Thanks everyone for the help.

It’s a good light and a brand, in fact, I heard about from P-220 here. I have other priorities for lights, but they make a solid one. If you or other esteemed members need any nerdy bits of info, I am decent at finding it- at least as it relates to flashlights and batteries. ***************** Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. - Ben Franklin

| That rug really tied the room together. |
Now go buy a few 18650 batteries. KeepPower, Surefire, Streamlight, LG, Sanyo, and some others, make some high quality button top protected cells that will work great. Save money over using 123 batteries. Some of the newer ones can be charged with a micro USB cord if you dont have a battery charger. ______________________________________________________ Often times a very small man can cast a very large shadow

I'm having good luck with Nitecore 3,400mAh 18650 rechargeable batteries. They charge fairly quickly and stay charged for a long time. Give them a try, you'll be glad you did. I believe you will be very happy with your decision, the PD32 is a solid light. I have had success with the Fenix 3500 mAh 18650's Niech Zyje P-220 Steve

The pd32 arrived today and meets all the requirements i had. Its small and light and operates simply. On and off and no strobe light activation when trying to turn it on. Also look forward to receiving the Surefire light that DennisM is sending me as well.

Your going to be bitten by the Fenix bug. That said everyone should have a small pocket light and this one is perfect for that. https://www.fenix-store.com/fenix-e12-led-flashlight/ You're welcome.
