Apparently, Flo’s Hot Dog stand is famous in parts of the northeast: https://www.floshotdogs.com/ My brother and SiL sent me a jar of Flo’s hot dog relish to try. Its appearance is rather similar to Branston Original Pickle (*1), which I always have on hand, but their taste is much different. I’m poor at describing flavors, but there’s no doubt that Flo’s is sweeter. Flo’s is also more homogeneous than the Branston, which has sizable crunchy pieces in its sauce. I don’t have a sweet tooth, and I like “crunchy”, so I much prefer the Branston – it’s an excellent hotdog relish. I get it on Amazon: www.amazon.com/dp/B00Y2LXWE4/r..._encoding=UTF8&psc=1 *1 – Branston is the traditional pickle for the British “Ploughman’s Lunch”. Bread, cheese, and pickle are its essential components, but other things, such as an apple, might be included. Serious about crackers | ||
