In still another example of left wing "do as I say and not as I do," Sanders is refusing to pay campaign workers his proposed $15 minimum wage: https://dailycaller.com/2019/0...s-hour-minimum-wage/

Yup! Once again proven that that stupidity only works with other people's money!

What money? Bernie's been living off all of us his entire worthless life. He's just a monumental hypocrite, and his campaign staff is outing him for it. Doesn't really matter anyway, he and his campaign are toast.

Yep, his campaign is going no where.
Actually, he already won!
They have all moved to the left. They just don't need an old white guy as the face of the new fully socialist left.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Not at all surprised. Not even slightly. What would surprise me would be to learn that he was able to see the irony.

Well, he's gotta get elected first, y'see? Only then can he strip all the money from the evil rich folks and make it rain for his campaign workers.

Don't be surprised to hear some Democrats claim he is a Russian plant to help Trump win.
When they implode, like they look like they may, there will be all sorts of finger pointing and most will be at outsiders, not themselves.

I don't think the article broke this down, but I'm guessing they are salaried employees who work a ton of hours, and so dividing their salary by the number of hours worked turns out to be a low hourly average. But everyone else on a salary in any other job runs this risk too. That's the difference between exempt and non-exempt employees.

$15/hour in a full time job should be around $30k/year. Work more than 40 hours a week and your hourly rate dips below $15/hr. You can't make that up without overtime, a significant raise or a vacation. I don't think campaign staffers ever take vacation, since theirs is a short-term gig.

If I were a leftist, I'd be thoroughly pissed at Bernie. How dare he short-circuit our carefully-arranged circular firing squad? The nerve!

I see one of two things happening with Sanders when he doesn't get the nomination (he will not)

He will continue to take campaign donations up to the point he drops out and "Jill Steins" the surplus, or he will run as an Independent, diluting the leftist vote.

The old fraud can't go away and die soon enough.

I'm telling you their candidate hasn't entered the race yet. Standing in the background letting the storm blow itself out.

Hey, if he is diluting the Leftist vote, more power to him. If he and the Jihadi Squad are dragging the Leftists out in the open and making them show their true GDC colors, more power to all of them. The more that the folks in the middle of the political spectrum see the Dims as stark raving Leftists loons, the better for the country.

That might not be a bad strategy. Time will tell.

I had always figured, and Rush said today that they will run Michelle Obama at the last minute, she will have problems though, she was given a choice of giving up her law license, or go to trial about an insurance fraud case. She gave up her license.
