Adam Sandler gets a bad rap. In his comedies, he is buffoonish because he is supposed to be buffoonish. It's what pays the bills.

Watch him in Reign Over Me, a drama. He's really good.

Same with Vince Vaughn. While he was mis-cast and mis-directed in True Detective, he's been excellent in other dramatic roles.

I agree on Harrison Ford. He always plays Harrison Ford.

Keifer Southerland. Every role is Jack Bauer in some way or another.

Eric Roberts and Matt Damon.
