There was a time 15 or 20 years ago when both cable TV and movie studios were inexplicably throwing money at stand-up comedians hoping they'd learn how to act.

JCVD, Pauly Shore and Adam Sandler all made movies that I liked so I cannot harsh on them.
Seagal deserves all the negative press he gets and then some.
Ditto for Dick.
I will add the positively woooden Hayden Christiansen to the list. His performances in Star Wars are difficult to watch at best.

I like Shatner, he plays camp to the hilt and loves it, IMO. I wish I could find a skit he did on SNL mocking Trekkies, it was classic. He seems to not take himself seriously, and that's something to admire in Hollywood.

This guy Tommy Wiseau is perhaps the worst actor I have ever seen that actually makes movies. He is so bad, he has taken on cult status. Years ago, we sat through The Room as a joke and it was so hilariously bad.

What is considered the definition of "worst actors"?
It's one thing to just spout out a name, but another to have actual criteria.

smschulz, of course it’s all subjective. That’s my personal list. If I asked who was the prettiest girl to star in a movie, we could argue that till the end of time. But I’d still have my favorites

Agree with Cage. He's pretty much bottom of the barrel IMO, but Sean Penn has done some really good parts. Mystic River, for example, was fantastic.
