I considered putting this in Para's "The best Alkaline battery…" thread, but decided to start a new one. I've never suffered a Duracell alkaline battery leak, but many posts in Para's thread said to the contrary. So I plan to use lithium batteries from now on. Searches for AA lithiums most always find the Energizer batteries, but occasionally these EBL batteries: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d...wKca1HSQL&ref=plSrch They have a claimed capacity of 3,000 mah. I've never seen a mah rating stated for the Energizers. Has anyone had any experience with the EBL AA batteries? By replacing alkaline D cells with the EBL lithium AA batteries, and the Eneloop AA-to-D converter, my battery-stocking task would be much simplified. Serious about crackers

Just FYI, an Alkaline D cell is like 18,000 mAh. You'll be going through alot of AA batteries if you intend to use them in D cell spacers as D cell replacements. You might consider Eneloop AA low self discharge NiMH if you want to standardize on AA batteries. At least you can recharge those. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Aeteocles,
