15 years my friend moved from Vt to Crossville.
When looking at properties, he asked about having a burn barrel. After a confused look, he said for burning papers and cardboard. He was told, people in Tennessee tend to mind their own business!
He couldn’t move there quick enough.

Congratulations!

Drop me a line when your move gets closer and/or if you do any trips out that way as part of your process. I've been stationed at Fort Campbell for the past nine months and I own a house in Clarksville close to post. I'm always looking for shooting buddies!

Good for you. I've no doubt you'll thoroughly enjoy living a a great free state. We lived in Tennessee for 6 years and other than being further away from our grown kids it was a a wonderful place to live. I love your land from what I can see. Enjoy!

I’ll do that! After I get moved in the plan is to put a berm at the back of the property. I should be able to get close to 300 yards! Thanks!

Congrats! Wife and I bought some acreage in the mountains of NC a couple of years ago. We are waiting until building costs settle a bit before we build.

I can’t wait to retire so that I too can move to the USA!
TN is high on the list thanks to not taxing retirement, and generally speaking, no earthquakes, hurricanes, or tornados.

Plus they don’t consider anything over a flintlock a “extra super killy eeeeevil assaulty thingie weapon”.

Can’t wait!
