"Which economic system is best for America?" The options: capitalism or socialism. 87% of respondents voted for capitalism. 13% voted for socialism. Stunning that 13% are that ignorant/corrupt. One has to ask what demographic represents 13% of the population, as well. Regardless, that's 13% too many people allowed to vote, reproduce, breathe, etc.

Keeping in mind that to many people, socialism = free shit, it surprising the number was only 13%. “We truly live in a wondrous age of stupid.” - 83v45magna "I think it's important that people understand free speech doesn't mean free from consequences societally or politically or culturally." -Pranjit Kalita, founder and CIO of Birkoa Capital Management

From a quick search: Key statistics and programs SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program): In fiscal year 2024, 16.8% of Oklahomans received SNAP benefits. Housing Assistance: Potential cuts to federal housing aid could affect over 10,000 residents in Tulsa, impacting programs like Section 8 and other voucher programs. Oklahoma Human Services (OKDHS): This state agency provides a wide range of assistance, including SNAP, child care, and disability services, and helps over one million Oklahomans annually. End Quote** The entire State number comes close to what the poll mentions.

Not too surprising, look at the Mayor they have in Tulsa now. "But, as luck would have it, he stood up. He caught that chunk of lead." Yeah... it's a shame. But not too surprising:
There are plenty of people who want to live at someone else's expense. But they can't or don't want to see it for what it is. They feel 'entitled' to their 'benefits'. "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

Do the poll in a city like Portland and the results would be completely flipped. No one's life, liberty or property is safe while the legislature is in session.- Mark Twain

I expected there to be many more. A city or state by state version would be nice to see and also how well their economy is doing. ___________________________ Avoid buying ChiCom/CCP products whenever possible.

Lots of professionally successful lefties also support socialism. A central tenant of progressivism is the top level categorization of people as either victim or victimizer. Every other grouping (e.g. race, sex, economic status, etc) is a subgroup of those. Since the uber wealthy are considered victimizers who have gained their massive riches by stealing it from the rest of us, it is justice to take their wealth and spread it around. According to leftists, nobody is getting anything for free, they are recouping what was illegitimately taken from them in the first place. Since the definition of "The Rich" is those who have more than oneself, and since a progressive knows he isn't a victimizer, he believes that he and his family will continue to prosper. Social Justice will be achieved with socialism taking from The Rich. By definition then, the Good People will enjoy their rightful prosperity. Peace and love will abound.

| Leftists, what more needs to be said? |
I’d be curious to know what percentage of the respondents actually knew the difference and the percentage who didn’t and participated anyway. Ever seen videos of college kids that couldn’t tell you what country Germany is in, or how many days it would take to drive from Paris to France?

Yeah... they are even worse than the free shit crowd. They actually believe this claptrap. "Some things are apparent. Socialism is basically admitting you can't compete in the real world. You're saying "I'm willing to give up my liberty, my religion, and my dreams as long as the state will take care of me. Accepting Socialism is accepting failure. It's the complete opposite of America.

Not surprising, lived there for several years, most are pretty conservative in OK but like all larger cities there are pockets of Libtardians. Remember the guy in the truck with a horse trailer that met up with these social justice socialism progressive dumbasses that blocked a highway in Tulsa? yeah, drove right through their little rainbow blockade

That's the proper response to these fools. "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. I guarantee those ‘free’ Covid checks ticked up that number. It was like feeding wild bears, where they become so dependent on handouts they are unwilling to fend for themselves. Retired Texas Lawman
