They should not sell oil to nylon producers who sell to NF.
Hedley Lamarr: Wait, wait, wait. I'm unarmed.
Bart: Alright, we'll settle this like men, with our fists.
Hedley Lamarr: Sorry, I just remembered . . . I am armed.

The North Face can go to hell.
They are a shell of a once great company that now only creates fashion pieces made in Pakistan and China. Patagucci too. I'm so sick of hearing their virtue signaling nonsense. Patagucci rejected hundreds of orders from the Wall Street sect (who wouldn't be caught dead wearing the North Face) for the same reasons.
Patagucci Sez NO!
Patagonia has been rejecting oil & gas orders since at least 2014. In other words, they got woke before the North Face clowns.
There are plenty of other fish in the sea for getting company or project logo'd clothing, but for me it also means I won't own anything made by these hypocrites (all of their materials get to them thanks to oil & gas, many of their materials are petrochemical based, and all of their products get to market thanks to oil & gas).
Ego is the anesthesia that deadens the pain of stupidity

According to Anderson, he was told by his distributor that The North Face rejected the order because Anderson wanted to put the Innovex logo on the jackets, and the company rejected the idea of placing an oil and gas services company logo on its jackets.
For the record, the 'distributor' in question is probably
SanMar or,
Premco . If any of you are looking for gear whether its apparel, packs, corporate gifts, with your company logo, those are the two big heavy hitters who are set-up for that business. Lots of brands to choose from, just make sure you order several months before you need them.
Brands are chasing Patagonia and their model of activism seeing their 2-decade growth; most fall flat on their face....like this.

I could agree, if there was no other manufacture who couldn't fill the void.
In their case, there's several other vendors which might not have their head up their ass!
At some point, we must support our friendlies and let the market reset the rest.
I see this being the same as buy USA vs China.

snwghstLooks like Vanity Fair owns north face now
They are a big enough corporation they couldn’t care less about the PC culture. It’s all profit to them
https://www.vfc.com/brandsI laughed when I read this on NF wiki page
“By the late 1990s customers had expanded beyond outdoor enthusiasts and in the 2000s it became a fashion style symbol. In 2000, it was bought by VF Corporation.“
I haven’t bought anything from them in over a couple decades when quality started to plummet. For the same money there is better gear
