I worked with a guy who had an argument with the ex. He got arrested even though he was the one with a knife hole in his stomach. Crazy.

What I can’t get over is while she was pounding him, she was on cloud nine! Body language was, she was enjoying herself. Scary.

Tried a case to a jury where a woman (Anglo) came into a bar when her husband (Mexican) was having a beer after work. She wanted him home to go out for dinner. They leave in separate cars and once inside the house she begins hitting him. He moves away from her and she knows him to the ground. He weighs 150 she weighs 240lbs. She gets on top of himm and is punching when he has had enough and slugs her in the face. She rolls off and calls 911. The police arrive and she is on top of him punching away. Guess who is arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence assault? The man. At trial, among other things showed the jury what a weight difference was involved by carrying around the largest bag of dog-food and cat litter I could find which approximated the weight difference. She cried on the stand, guy was convicted. Lesson: Hitting a woman is risky with DA's almost always siding with the woman regardless of circumstances. They rely upon the man using "excessive force" even when that isn't the case. Have had several not guilty cases with the man found not guilty but there is always a risk if the woman gets slugged. Wrestle them is afer than landing a punch.
