gjgalliganA Disco Vette. The car I've always wanted and now I have it. I rule!

That's a term I haven't heard in many years.

But I don't understand the use of "disco" in this context. Can somebody enlighten me?

trapper1891970s Disco Era. Although, it could be argued Disco was dead by 1978 and thus SC's C3 is post-Disco. While I too would have preferred a '72 double chrome bumper C3, any C3 is on my list.

It's a 1978, Silver Anniversary.
Mine is a decade older, an '88 C4. Built in the 35th anniversary year but not a tri-white anniversary edition.

Disco died in 1980 with punk rock becoming mainstream and new wave-post punk took hold.

coloradohunter44Nice car. I would definitely add a cam and such. Those cars were smoggy and doggy. You can easily make it much more sportier to drive. Enjoy working and playing with it.
