For about the past month I've been watching anywhere from 2 to 3 videos on YouTube each night of interviews with Vietnam Veterans. If you search YouTube using any of the titles in the subject line you'll find lots of videos. Some interviews are more interesting than others. The interviews start out with the basics of their lives leading up to being drafted or enlisting, then cover their time in country, and finally their return home. The interviews range anywhere from 45 minutes long to almost 2 hours long and include interviews with the typical grunt that was drafted and had no interest in being sent to Vietnam, to Medal of Honor Recipients, door gunners, helicopter pilots, POWs, and Special Forces soldiers. Several interviews are with veterans that survived The Battle of Hill 937 (Hamburger Hill). Below is one particular video to get you started if you are interested. There are many outstanding men from that era whose stories need to be told and heard. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNqFG4VmtrE https://youtu.be/CNqFG4VmtrE -- I apparently don't know how to embed. | ||

Thanks for that. I got a download from Amazon called "Our Vietnam Wars" as told by 100 Veterans who served. It is short stories and a great read. It's a shame, as a nation we didn't give them the HONOR they deserve.
