https://www.wtnh.com/news/conn...shot-in-bristol-csp/Happened last night….apparent ambush by scumbag who is thankfully at room temperatures.
RIP officers, and a speedy recovery to the third one injured. Thoughts and prayers for family, department and friends!
All you out there that are LEO….stay safe and keep vigilant, you have my respect! I recently retired but spent 15 years with our regional SWAT team as a medic so this hits home for me…God bless!

BlackmoreEven when its industry had declined in the 70's when I was familiar with Bristol, it wasn't a $#!thole. A rapid decline since then though.

71 TRUCKThis is so sad. It seams to be getting worse for law enforcement.
We just had a deputy in Polk County Fl. killed a few weeks ago, he was 21 years old. He was with others sheriffs serving a warrant.
Just the other day we had a deputy who was saved by his bullet proof vest. He was shot in the chest while on a domestic call.

StarTravelerAn off-duty officer was killed in the rampage by a juvenile in Raleigh, NC, last night along with four others, too.
With the current lack of morality (and basic insanity) in our society, too many young people don't respect anyone but some of them seem to hate police officers. With the problems the Soros DAs and others have introduced in prosecutions and the bail issues by others, too many people seem to think they can harm officers (and others) and get away with it; they've been raised without understanding consequences or cause and effect. Until we show them "no, you won't get away with it and your death when you are convicted (after an expedited appeal cycle, if needed) is going to be sure and swift," they won't believe there's a real deterrent and this, sadly, is going to keep happening.
Be safe out there, Officers, and rest in peace to the Fallen.

HayesGreenerI will make a wild guess that the CT shootings was a planned suicide by cops. It kind of fits that guy's history.
The deputy in Polk County was killed by "friendly fire" from other deputies when the suspect pulled a real gun lookalike BB gun on arresting officers.
