The wife broke the insulated travel tumbler she uses for coffee. She wants to find one made in America. I guess this is a 20 or 24 cup with a lid.

Any suggestions?

Yes as long as you get plastic. The steel ones are chinese made.

In fact, here is a quote from Bison coolers regarding their stainless tumblers:

"Unlike our American-made coolers, Bison Drinkware is imported simply because there isn't a single company in America that can manufacture a stainless steel, vacuum-insulated container."

I have no idea if that is a true statement or not, but it's certainly hard to find American made stainless.

I found it impossible to find a stainless steel, vacuum insulated thermos made in America.

Tervis seems like their quality has been going down for the last 5-10 years. Yes, they have a lifetime guarantee, but the quality isn't what it used to be. My owns a retail store and used to carry it. Tervis has been displaced by imported vacuum stainless.

We love Tervis...

You can even get one custom done with your own pictures in the glass. I had two made for my wife with pictures of her and our late Labrador dogs ( they were brothers)

As to Tervis’ guarantee it gives you a new tumbler with some silly generic patch inside. Not what you had like a sports team or anything else.

Have Tervis and a variety of SS tumblers. The Tervis may be "insulated" as they do not sweat but I don't believe that they are vacuum insulated like the SS.

Dunno if US made or not... coming from Sam's Club I doubt it... but they had a 2 pack of steel ones for 20 bucks. They work great.

I can't answer the OP question as to a buy American product other than what Tervis offers.

What I know is that we once owned quite a few of their products and it seemed as if you looked at them wrong they cracked.Their customer (dis)service after that stunk.

Like many others have said not made in the US, but have had great luck and service from RTIC products.

Yeti wants to claim that RTIC ripped them off, yet they both ripped off Engel.

With me service after the sale rules.

I believe Yeti is still made here. Think of it as the original RTIC, at twice the price!

I've got several many RTIC products around the house and cabin, all work splendidly.
