BTW, the author of that article used the word "unironically" which apparently is one of the pet words of posturing twenty-somethings- like the author, who graduated from college a whole five years ago! Look at you, little man! All grown up. Kinda.
I think people who use ridiculous, pretentious terms like "unironically" should be slapped in the face with a large frozen fish. "Curate"- that's another one. Enough with that stupid shit. It makes you sound like a douchebag.

Elon Musk: "New Twitter policy is to follow the science, which necessarily includes reasoned questioning of the science"
Reasoned questioning has been the bed rock of our scientific advances.

"Codify" is my personal favorite. It makes people sound so smart...or not.

Journalist Matt Taibbi appears on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo to discuss his findings within the ongoing review of the Twitter communication files.
As Taibbi notes, the FBI was asking for the unmasking of several thousand accounts to include usernames, use identity, ip addresses, geolocation of the account holders and other personal identification data that would normally require a search warrant.
The Dept of Homeland Security (DHS), the FBI and in some cases the CIA would submit these requests and Twitter was fulfilling, albeit sometimes uncomfortable in the compliance demand

Biden’s FTC is targeting Musk
“Elon Musk has accused the Biden Administration of 'weaponizing' the FTC to probe his takeover of Twitter as the Dem-led agency demanded he hand over private information about the firm.
The report comes two months after a whistleblower alleged with the FTC that an internal tool used by hackers to tweet from high-profile accounts during the site's massive security breach in 2020 is still available to all of the company's engineers.
The FTC - led by Biden appointee Lina Khan - asked Twitter Inc to turn over internal communications related to Musk, detailed information about layoffs and other business decisions as part of an investigation into the social media company.
The organization has sent 12 letters to Twitter and its lawyers since Musk's takeover in October.
It also asked the company to 'identify all journalists' who were granted access to company records and to provide information about the launch of the revamped Twitter Blue subscription service, the report said.
The FTC is also looking to get Musk to testify in connection with the probe, the WSJ reported.
Elon Musk has already tweeted about the investigation in response to a post about it from journalist Michael Shellenberger.
'A shameful case of weaponization of a government agency for political purposes and suppression of the truth!' Musk wrote.
He responded to another tweet about the investigation saying: 'This is a serious attack on the Constitution by a federal agency.' …”
This is probably as good a place as any to post this. Congressman, Jim Jordan gutting the embedded partisan Dems as chair of (I believe) the Oversight and Accountability Committee.

I don’t know what to make of this.
“The IRS visited Twitter Files journalist Matt Taibbi's home on the same day that he gave evidence to Congress on the 'weaponization' of the federal government.
The federal agent showed up at his New Jersey property and left a note on March 9 - and now House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan is demanding an explanation over the visit.
According to the report in the WSJ, the note left by IRS asked Taibbi to call them four days later - and when he did, an agent told him his tax returns from 2018 and 2021 had been rejected.
They said the rejection was based upon identity theft concerns.
Taibbi gained the attention of millions of viewers with the first installment of the Twitter Files - focusing on its internal discussions leading them to censor the Hunter Biden laptop during the 2020 presidential election.
The IRS visit occurred on the same day that the journalist appeared in front of the Select Subcommittee on the 'weaponization of the federal government.'
He was testifying on what he learned from the Twitter Files - which were a series of internal Twitter documents made public after Elon Musk released them to Taibbi. …”

Bull shit!
I once got into it with the IRS, they send a nice letter with a phone number to call-that actually rings on a human’s desk and she walked me thru the issue of my ex wife trying to claim the kid after I had already filed.
This is nothing more than strong arm tactics. Putting the fear of the IRS behind you.

NPR no longer using Twitter after it 'undermined our credibility'
Glad to see NPR (Notmy Public Radio) outta there.
“National Public Radio (NPR) has quit Twitter after the social platform 'undermined' the news source's 'credibility' when it branded it a 'government-funded' outlet and accused it of not being 'editorially independent.'
NPR's 52 Twitter accounts have gone silent after the social platform added the black label tag of 'state-affiliated media' to the brand's official account - a tag that is often only seen associated with propaganda outlets in Russia and China.
It has since been changed to 'government-funded media.' The BBC and PBS have also been given the same tag.
Earlier this month, Musk branded The New York Times 'propaganda' and removed its golden checkmark. …”
They took their block of warmed brie and chilled wine glasses and went home. It's so dirty anyway, mingling with all the riff-raff in flyover country.

NPR no like being correctly labeled for what they are. The label was long overdue and much respect for Mr. Musk in seeing that it was applied to those pompous state shills.
NPR is another bastion of leftists that completely lack any useful degree of self awareness. If they had even a modicum of it, they may contemplate what role they had in undermining their credibility. However NPR lacks the capacity and motivation to ever go there just like a petulant child.
