Richie and Ben: I don’t think ethics, transparency, accountability, misinfo, etc means what you think it means. Based on twit’s behavior, if you think that’s what they were doing, you guys are complete and utter morons.

So does all mean that Twitter actually really isn’t an undercover government ran (which one?) propaganda machine?

So Elon stated several days ago that Twitter appeared to have 10 people managing for every 1 person coding.
And now he has laid off 50% of the workforce. Presumably targeting the redundant managers.
But wouldn't that 50% reduction still leave 4-5 people managing for every 1 person coding...?

Having had it happen to me a few times, I don't usually like to hear about people being laid off, but in this case I'll make an exception.

Most people who've worked for years have at some point been either laid off or fired or both. I've been both.

I did some surfing around on Twitter to look at the feeds of the employees. They are all exclusively leftist crazies.

He will probably re-purpose a lot of the management to coding/real work.

I have never been laid off or fired because I am self employed. I have faced far worse over the years when business is down. I have to look inside myself and see what I can do to make things better. I have no time for these lazy mfs making good money at Twitter. Go back to the basement or get a real job.

I have been laid off or outright let go from 3 different fortune 500 companies over my working career none of my own doing I never quit a job. Companies were bought and sold, departments dissolved, new management. Shit happens. The fourth fortune 500 company managed to hang on long enough to give me a retirement. I never blamed any of them I just went and found a new job. Given the current job market even these Twitter twits should be able to find something. My last resort was to go to work for my wife in our distribution business. She's a hard driver for sure no retirement plan there either!

I love that Joan Deitchman tweet. Sort of saying "We were sort of looking into the idea of doing a little less of what we've been doing, but now that's we're not there, we won't be able to maybe not not do what we've been doing all along." lmao
Yeah toots, this ends up being the same thing, but actually happens.

Bingo right there. No fun for sure, but capitalism and freedom is what makes America great. If you're good in your trade and consistently work hard, you will often get a better deal that the one you lost. It's the incompetent and lazy that shit their diapers and cry about it. The best hustle up a new job and continue on as normal. The best move on and up. The lazy, the entitled, the incompetent, the incorrigible, whine and cry and blame and file suits. It's an old story. The honest and diligent make America great. The rest are parasites and should leave the country or stfu.
