The very height of incompetence. An old tennis shoe could do just as good a job as this waste of oxygen.

Senator Kennedy rakes him over the coals. His old country lawyer approach is diametrically opposed to Ted Cruz's buzzsaw, but the net effect is the same.

Check out this potted plant's non-definition, non-answer of and about "assault weapons". He doesn't even care enough to prepare minimally, so that he doesn't look like a dolt.

The day this guy leaves office will be a good day for America.

Intellectually dishonest is quite accurate and yet somehow not on same scale with how I feel about the lies, and damn lies Mad

I never considered myself as capable of any cabinet level job but now I kinda feel over-qualified.

Biden has loaded his administration with appointees, who are far from competent at anything other than their own self-aggrandizement.

I am serious when I say that I am surprised to learn that this milquetoast has two children, because his demeanor is such that I would have guessed that he had never gotten laid in his life.

I don't intend this as an insult. An insult it surely is, but I am completely serious. He acts like a man who would get lost when trying to find his way into those panties. He comes across like a man with no beliefs, no convictions.

In all the video I have watched of him testifying before Congress, the only question I have seen him answer with an actual, straightforward yes or no answer, was the question Kennedy asked him as to whether or not he thinks we should ban "assault weapons". But, anything to do with his actual job, he just can't manage to speak plainy.

I disagree in part. They are not incompetent, they are doing EXACTLY what they are being told to do by those who appointed them. Their problem is they have no way to justify the actions they are being told to take and clearly cannot use the 'I'm just following order/instructions' defense. Hence they get lost under cross and look stupid.

You're right, as an appointee, their usefulness is in their ability carryout the policies that the current administration directs. How they answer Congressional committee questions is their real value...again, to the administration.

He is one of the worst, detest him wherever I see him.

Of course the Secretary of energy & transportation are close behind. None were chosen for any abilities.

To what end? They remain in their positions.

Want to impress me? Bring impeachment proceedings against these people. Hearings are meaningless and everyone knows it. They are nothing more than dog and pony shows designed to get the politician a little face time on the news for the next election.

When they start doing their job of checking and balancing, then I'll respect them.

Not entirely. All of the testimony is entered into the Congressional Record. This does not help us right now, of course, but it's not accurate to say that recording this testimony in perpetuity is meaningless.

Plus, they make for some bitchin' youtube videos.
