April Fool's Pranks
OK, it is on at work. This is just one of the pranks I have out.

The Underwood label went back over the pet food label to make it look like I've been pranked.

Classic Firearms has a new video with a pretty young lady from customer service asking "How Many Guns Can She Conceal?" Without getting a full length shot of her, I guessed six or maybe eight...

I managed to prank my intern today.

I had a 6" cube full of foam peanuts. His cubicle has an "overhead" cabinet -- the door hinges upward and then slides away from the user.

I opened the door and placed the open side of the box against it, then used a piece of packing tape to attach the box to the door.

Once he got settled in this morning, I called him from my desk to ask him to look in the cabinet and see if a particular valve was there. (Then I had to RUN over to the cube farm!)

When I got there, he'd just pulled the door open and peanuts were all over his desk. Harmless fun, and we all got a good laugh from it.

Cool

God bless America.

Someone once taped a small sign to the back of a friends truck that read: “I’m completely naked from the waist down!” Took him a couple days to notice it. He was a good sport about it. Laughed. He was a police detective and had once been assigned to sex crimes.

My best April Fools Day "prank" was back in about 1980 when I lived in Salt Lake City. Every morning I listened to a talk radio program while at my desk and on April 1 I just happened to call the program on a lark. I decided I would have fun with the word "philately" , "philatelic" and "philatelist".

The talk show host was familiar with the terms and fell right into it. We went on for nearly an hour on this subject.

I explained that I had a secret I wanted to share. I confessed that I was a lifelong practicing philatelist and had recently come out of the closet. The host questioned me as to how long I had been a philatelist and what was my level of indulgence into this practice. By now the little old ladies were on the phone and were mortified and flabbergasted that philately was going on right their in SLC. I even told the radio guy that right down the street from his station was a little store run by a nice old lady that sold cuckoo clocks and philately paraphernalia. This just enraged some of the listeners!

Going into this I didn't realize just how good it was going to get. This had to have been one of the best hours in Salt Lake radio history.

By the way, a philatelist is a stamp collector, philately is the hobby of stamp collecting.
