My PC is telling me "this site can't provide a secure connection" sigforum uses an unsupported protocol. My PC didn't have any updates and it just suddenly started doing this. Is there a setting or something or could it be my VPN? Don't weep for the stupid, or you will be crying all day

It’s because sigform doesn’t use https. You should be able to bypass the warning for sigforum and proceed.

That was a while ago. It has had "https" for while, now. Q

What's the operating system of your computer? Which browser are you using, and have you tried updating the browser and also tried a different browser?

Seems like this happened to me a few years ago. I updated my anti-virus (Avast) and restarted and haven't had it pop up since.

You say that you're "PC is telling you". Can you be more specific? It does sound like an antivirus software message message. I used to use Avast and got rid of it because it gave messages like that. It's not a browser issue because it's happening with two different browsers. You're not using an outdated OS, either. Its not an issue with this website, either.
